When a Piarist narrates his vocational story, we will always hear him placing the children at the center of his life, because Christ’s face is reflected in the faces of the little ones.
The Piarist religious unconditionally follows in the footsteps of Christ and, through his words and actions, he testifies to the love he feels because he receives the charism of Saint Joseph Calasanz.
Currently, I carry out my piarist religious life among the children, adolescents, and young people of the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Tlalcoligia, Mexico City.
When I say to carry out, I think of the verb to walk because the boys and girls of the group demand a Piarist to accompany them, not only during their stay in the parish group but at all times.
I give myself wholly and unconditionally to God, through the children, adolescents, and young people, because I firmly believe in Calasanz’s words “if from early childhood the child is imbued with piety and letters, we must expect a happy course in his life“.
Calasanz’s words are powerful today and, when they touch the heart of the Piarist, it is impossible for the Spirit to go unnoticed, without bearing fruit.
